When choosing your accessories for your dress think about the overall look you want to create and about your dress design and style. My wedding dress was influenced by 1920′s Glamour so when it came to accessorising I chose statement 20′s style earrings and hair piece. The V-neck had a sparkle trim which meant a necklace would have been too much and the cape sleeves and fabric drape at the back meant a veil wouldn’t work so I chose a hairpiece that finished the look. My dress and overall image also reflected the setting and surroundings of our wedding – a 1920′s style fete. A structured full skirt wedding dress would have looked too classic and traditional.
