Ellie’s Top Tip
Let’s talk underwear for your wedding dress!
You can’t beat a bra that fits properly and gives you a great bust shape. So make sure you get measured correctly and buy a bra that works under your dress, not very sexy I know, but this usually means a plain flesh coloured one. To match you can’t beat flesh coloured spanx type pants either I’m afraid – although we refer to them as sausage pants!! Heartbreaking as this news may be, the smooth silhouette they give can’t be beaten. We’ve tried and tested 100′s of them over the years and have our favourites; worn correctly they are amazing.
My pet hate is bodice dresses that don’t fit nicely over the bust, so when having your dress alterations make sure they are being done over the underwear you will be wearing on your wedding to ensure a perfect fit. If in doubt take a selection of under garments along with you to your fitting to try on with your dress.
